About the Speakers

Belinda Drew is the CEO of CSIA, providing specialised support to advance the business and sustainability of Community Services in Australia.  Belinda combines 20 years of industry experience with her passion for social investment and innovation, as a leading contributor to the Community Services Industry.  Over the last decade, Belinda has successfully led Foresters Community Finance through a period of considerable change and cultural evolution, focusing on Australia’s social investment market in her role as CEO. Over the term of her employment, Belinda developed her a strong skillset in organisational management and strategic leadership, harnessing and further honing her knowledge across social enterprise, social entrepreneurship, microfinance, community finance and social investment.

Cathy Hunt is a cultural strategist based in Brisbane and working across Australia and Asia Pacific. As one of the founding Directors of Positive Solutions, she specialises in policy formation, strategic planning and the funding and financing of the arts. Cathy has worked throughout Australia and in Hong Kong on the development of cultural policy, including cultural plans for local governments, strategy reviews and planning for State and Federal governments, cultural facility developments, and organisational and business planning for arts organisations.

‘Capital Matters | Funding and Financing your Organisation in the Future’ is a workshop for non-profits, social and cultural entrepreneurs who know what they do, and why they do it but want to know who will pay for it in the future and how they will resource the development of their organisation to achieve their goals!
