  • Conduct annual review of Board's skill sets prior to AGM
  • Identify skill sets required
  •  Target individuals with requisite skills, as identified in review, for recruitment to Board
  • Maintain good networks with key individuals and organisations for potential pool of appropriate Board recruits 
  • Ensure turnover of Board members when term of service has expired, as per policy
  • Ensure thorough orientation of new Board members
  • Review orientation package annually
  • Update existing Board members as required
  • Maintain adequate records and storage of Board meetings, reports, business and strategic plans, and corporate documentation
  • Annual audit to ensure vital organisational information (e.g. insurance and legals, staff position descriptions, operations manuals, financial records) available to Board is both current and accessible
